Two Lakes, Two Records, One Historic Day
Texas bass fishing history was made on Feb. 16, when Purtis Creek State Park Lake and Ellison Creek Reservoir (Lone Star Lake) combined for the first double‑Legacy‑Class day of the 2026 Toyota ShareLunker season. Both lakes produced record‑breaking giants, and Ellison Creek entered the elite ranks for the first time, becoming the 81st Texas public waterbody to contribute a Legacy Class ShareLunker.
