Central and South Central Texas will hold onto a warming trend today as temperatures climb into the 60s under increasing cloud cover. Breezy south to southwest winds around 10–15 mph, with occasional gusts up to 20–25 mph, will add to the mild feel. Overnight temperatures won’t fall far, with lows generally staying in the 40s across the region.

A weak cold front arrives Tuesday, bringing low rain chances mainly for areas east of I‑35. The best coverage is expected across southeastern counties, though most of the showers should shift east of the region by evening. A stray storm with lightning can’t be ruled out. Behind the front, slightly cooler air settles in for Wednesday, delivering plenty of sunshine and highs in the 50s.

From Thursday through Sunday, the pattern turns dry and unseasonably warm. Afternoon highs will steadily climb, reaching the 70s by Friday, while overnight lows remain mild in the upper 30s and 40s.

Austin & San Antonio Region

South Central Texas will also see a warmer day today, with south to southwest winds gusting up to 25 mph. Highs will range from the upper 50s in the northern Hill Country to near 70 farther south. Mostly clear skies tonight will give way to partly cloudy conditions by Monday morning, with lows staying above freezing for most of the area, settling in the mid to upper 30s.

Mild and humid conditions continue into early Tuesday before the midday front brings a brief window of rain to eastern counties. Temperatures will dip back toward seasonal norms for midweek, but the warming trend returns by Friday and carries into the weekend.
