To honor the anniversary of our independence, today’s playlist will feature a variety of patriotic songs and speeches sprinkled in with the beautiful music we all enjoy. It is always a pleasure to put together schedules for special days like this.

Learn about monarch butterflies and what it takes to power their unique annual migration, from milkweeds and nectar plants to mountains, rivers and roadsides. In this introductory class taught online by the Center’s Minnette Marr and Lee Clippard, you’ll learn how to identify monarchs and the plants they depend on, and we’ll explore ways you can support these species.

As a rule, I normally wait until each program has aired live before making it available to you. The Senior Report is the exception, as many of the announcements she tells us about are time sensitive and we don’t want you finding out about them when it is too late.
