Autumn fun takes center stage this Friday as Killeen Parks and Recreation rolls out its annual Fall Fest, inviting families from across the city to enjoy an evening filled with seasonal treats, community spirit, and Halloween‑themed excitement. The celebration takes place Friday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center, 3301 S. W.S. Young Drive.

This year’s Fall Fest promises no tricks — just treats, offering a lineup designed to delight kids, teens, and adults alike. Visitors can look forward to candy giveaways, a pumpkin photo op, hayrides, a haunted maze, rock climbing, local vendors, and costume contests that bring out the creativity of Killeen’s most spirited residents.

The event is free and intentionally family‑friendly, giving the community a chance to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the season together. Killeen Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Killeen Youth Advisory Commission, whose members will help welcome guests and support the evening’s activities — a partnership that highlights the city’s commitment to youth engagement and community involvement.

Residents are encouraged to grab their costumes, bring the whole family, and get ready for a spooktacular night of fall festivities. Whether it’s snapping photos with pumpkins, navigating the haunted maze, or simply enjoying the crisp October air, Fall Fest offers something for everyone.
