Twenty‑five years after a clear September morning was forever changed, Temple Fire & Rescue is inviting the community to gather in remembrance. On Wednesday, residents are welcome to attend a 9/11 Memorial Service at Central Station, located at 210 N. Third Street, to honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

The ceremony is simple, solemn, and deeply meaningful. It will open with remarks reflecting on the courage shown by first responders, the resilience of survivors, and the unity that carried the nation through its darkest hours.
