One of Killeen’s most beloved community traditions is back this summer as the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce hosts the 17th Annual Flavors of Central Texas on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Killeen Special Events Center.
For nearly two decades, Flavors of Central Texas has served as a showcase of the region’s culinary creativity, business community, and hometown spirit. This year’s celebration promises an evening filled with local tastes, family fun, and the unmistakable energy of Central Texas.
More than 20 food and beverage vendors will be on hand, offering guests the chance to sample everything from savory favorites to sweet treats and refreshing drinks. Another six to seven activity and “fun” vendors will round out the experience, creating a lively, family‑friendly atmosphere where residents can explore, connect, and celebrate the businesses that help shape the community.
The event remains one of the Chamber’s signature showcases—designed not only to highlight local restaurants and entrepreneurs but also to bring neighbors together in a shared celebration of culture, flavor, and community pride.
