Boil Water Notice Issued for Multiple Killeen Addresses

The City of Killeen has issued a Boil Water Notice beginning June 16, 2026, for several homes in the Gilmer Street, Norman Circle, and Washington Street areas following a planned water service interruption tied to scheduled maintenance.

The notice affects the following addresses:

Gilmer Street

Norman Circle

  • 809, 812, 813, 816, 822
  • 904, 905, 906, 907

Washington Street

  • 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 307, 309

City officials report that water crews must isolate a section of the water main to replace a fire hydrant and a water valve. Crews will remain on site until all repairs are completed and full water service is restored.

During this time, residents in the affected area are advised to boil all water prior to consumption, including drinking, cooking, and ice-making, until laboratory testing confirms the water is safe. Water quality samples will be collected the day after repairs are completed, with results expected within 24 to 48 hours.

Once the notice is lifted, the City will issue updates through its website and the Boil Water Notice Hotline at (254) 501‑6515.

This maintenance work is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to ensure reliable water service and maintain critical infrastructure.
