The southbound lane of Old FM 440 from West Jasper Drive to West Central Texas Expressway will be closed to through traffic beginning this morning through Friday, Feb. 13, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting. The temporary closure will allow an Atmos Energy contractor to complete work in the area.

A traffic control plan will be in place throughout the project, with crews directing vehicles safely around the work zone. Drivers should expect delays, use caution when traveling near the site, and follow all posted traffic control devices.

The City encourages motorists to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel while the work is underway.
