The waters of Belton Lake will ripple with purpose this Saturday as anglers from across Texas gather for the 10th Annual Pink Fishing: Reeling in the Cure Bass Tournament—a powerful blend of sport, solidarity, and support for breast cancer awareness.

Hosted at Cedar Ridge Park, Turkey Roost, the tournament kicks off at 6:00 AM, with registration opening an hour earlier at 5:00 AM. This year’s event promises more than just big bass—it’s a celebration of resilience, community, and the fight against breast cancer.
Tournament Highlights:
- Texas Boat Format with a 5-fish limit
- Hourly Big Bass Payouts of $1,000 (based on 50 boats)
- Entry Fee: $200 early registration; $210 cash-only after September 2
- Special Raffle Drawings—including one for participants wearing pink
Beyond the competition, attendees will enjoy live music, hamburgers and hot dogs, and a moving candlelight prayer circle followed by a survivors’ fish release, honoring those who’ve faced breast cancer with courage and grace.
The event will be broadcast live on KNCT FM 91.3, bringing the energy and emotion of the day to listeners across Central Texas.
💬 For registration and details, contact Earl or Leisha Loggains or visit Pink Fishing’s official site. Boat numbers will be assigned upon receipt of payment and registration.
Whether you’re on the water or cheering from shore, this Saturday’s tournament is a reminder that when a community comes together, every cast counts.
