Killeen – Health, wellness, and safety take center stage as Central Texas College (CTC) prepares to host its Annual Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 23rd. Sponsored by Seton Medical Center of Harker Heights, this year’s theme, “Unleash Your Inner Hero,” encourages attendees to take charge of their well-being and adopt healthier lifestyle habits.

The event, held at the Anderson Campus Center (Bldg. 224) from 9am to 1pm, will feature a variety of health-focused activities and informational resources designed to promote overall wellness.

The Annual Wellness Fair aims to equip attendees with the tools they need to maintain a healthy, safe, and happy life. A silent auction, hosted by CTC’s Risk Management team, will raise funds for the Risk Management Scholarship Fund, supporting students pursuing degrees in health, mental health, fitness, emergency management, and safety education.

Local healthcare providers and wellness experts will be onsite, offering free information on various health and safety topics. Baylor Scott & White will be conducting blood donations, providing an opportunity for attendees to contribute to lifesaving efforts in the community.

Eventgoers can look forward to health screenings and the chance to win door prizes throughout the fair. Whether seeking medical advice, learning about fitness programs, or simply enjoying the interactive exhibits, visitors will find valuable tools for maintaining a well-balanced lifestyle.

CTC welcomes students, faculty, staff, and community members to participate in a day of fun, education, and proactive wellness. For questions or additional information, contact Risk Management at (254) 501-3028 or via email at Rdepartment@ctcd.edu.
