GRAPEVINE – For many, LEGO bricks have been a childhood staple—an outlet for creativity, imagination, and endless possibilities. Now, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Ft. Worth is giving one lucky builder the chance to turn that passion into a full-time career.

The attraction is currently on the hunt for an Assistant Master Model Builder, a dream job that comes with the chance to play with LEGO bricks professionally. The new hire will work in the heart of the “ultimate indoor LEGO playground” at Grapevine Mills Mall, helping to design new models and engage with young visitors.

To determine the best candidate for the role, LEGOLAND Discovery Center will host Brick Factor 2025, a live competition beginning at 10am on April 12th. The contest will feature multiple rounds of intense LEGO challenges, including freestyle builds, assigned models, and high-pressure timed events. Throughout the competition, participants will be evaluated not only on their technical building skills but also on their ability to interact and entertain guests—an essential part of the job.

Top applicants will be invited to compete, but hopefuls must act fast—applications for the position close on April 10th at 11:59 pm.

Beyond just constructing impressive models, the Assistant Master Model Builder will play a key role in developing new exhibitions and designs for LEGOLAND Discovery Center, ensuring that visitors of all ages experience the magic of LEGO firsthand.

For those eager to turn their childhood dream into reality, applications can be submitted via Merlin Careers.
