Killeen Animal Services Partners with Petco Love to Offer Free Pet Vaccines

KILLEEN – Pet owners in Killeen and the surrounding areas are invited to a free pet vaccination clinic hosted by the City of Killeen Animal Services Department in partnership with Petco Love. This event will take place on Monday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center, located at 3301 South WS Young Drive.

This drive-through clinic will provide essential pet vaccinations on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-registration is required. For safety, all pets must be leashed or secured in pet-safe carriers.

Killeen Animal Services will administer DAPPv and HCP vaccines, which are essential for protecting pets against diseases such as parvovirus and distemper. Additionally, the clinic will offer rabies vaccines at no cost, a new addition made possible through Petco Love’s national vaccination initiative.

Jessica Green, Director of Killeen Animal Services, expressed excitement about the partnership: “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Petco Love for a third year to bring these free vaccines. As a proud Petco Love partner, Killeen Animal Services is dedicated to improving the lives of pets through this initiative.”
