The “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which began on September 10, 2018, took Elton John on a global journey, covering North America, Europe, and Australia. Despite being interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour resumed with fervor, allowing fans worldwide to experience the magic of his live performances one last time.
Elton’s final performance was a nostalgic and emotional event, featuring hits like “Bennie and the Jets,” “Tiny Dancer,” and “Your Song”. The concert ended with a poignant rendition of “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” leaving fans teary-eyed as confetti rained down and the legendary artist took his final bow1.
