KILLEEN – The Carlson Law Firm has opened applications for its annual Carlson Cares Scholarships, aimed at uplifting and supporting the next generation of leaders. Two Texas high school seniors will be awarded $2,500 each toward their educational goals.

High school seniors graduating during the 2024-2025 school year and planning to attend a Texas university or college for the 2025-2026 academic year are encouraged to apply.

Students can submit their applications at carlsonattorneys.com/scholarship. Entries must include:

• An online application form
• Proof of enrollment in a Texas college or university
• An unofficial transcript
• A 300-500 word essay or 2-3 minute video on the prompt: “How have you demonstrated compassion and care in your life, and how will you carry these values forward?”
• Optional letters of recommendation

Applications are open from January 13 to April 17, 2025. Winners will be notified by email on April 22nd, with announcements also shared on The Carlson Law Firm’s social media and in local news outlets. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the winners’ schools for tuition and education-related expenses.
