KILLEEN – Central Texas College (CTC) recently celebrated the dedication and commitment of its faculty and staff at the annual service awards ceremony. Held on Friday in the Anderson Campus Center, the event recognized 64 employees who collectively contributed 1,010 years of service to the institution.
“At Central Texas College, we value the dedication of our employees,” said CTC Chancellor Dr. Michele Carter. “Their commitment to education and service is key to our success and the culture of our college community.”
The ceremony also featured the presentation of the Employee of the Year awards, honoring individuals for their outstanding contributions:
- Salaried: David Ellis, Supervisor of Mechanical Maintenance
- Faculty: Scott Lorenz, Professor of Protective Services
- Hourly: Elizabeth Swope, Office Assistant for Protective Services & Police Academy
Additionally, the Department of the Year award was presented to Mechanical Maintenance in recognition of their exceptional individual and team achievements.
