TEMPLE – The City of Temple announced a “Holly Jolly” month-long holiday celebration starting with Christmas at the Plaza. This inaugural event invites the community to embrace the holiday spirit together on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Santa Fe Plaza.

The festivities will begin at 3 p.m. with a holiday market featuring over 50 local vendors, offering unique crafts and gifts. Family-friendly activities will include tree decorating, a snowball fight, gingerbread bean bag toss, and face painting. Special attractions such as live reindeer and a mistletoe photo spot will add to the holiday magic.

At 6:30 p.m., attendees will gather around the Christmas tree for a proclamation, followed by the highly anticipated Christmas tree lighting show at 7:00 p.m. Delicious treats from various food vendors will be available throughout the event.

Public parking is accessible around the Santa Fe Plaza, the 1st Street Parking Garage, and nearby areas.

Christmas at the Plaza is just the beginning of the “Holly Jolly” series, which includes events like the Temple Christmas Parade on December 2, First Friday/Kringle Krawl on December 6, and many more festive activities throughout the month.
