With the first day to vote early person beginning Monday, I thought it would be beneficial to highlight some useful information that I found when researching this topic. I am only going to discuss logistical and administrative stuff here. If you would like to know more about the candidates and specific voting information in your area, our friends at the League of Women Voters have done a tremendous job addressing this. Go to Vote411.org to take advantage of all the incredible work they have done.

The first thing that we will talk about is some of the polling locations in our listening area.

BELL COUNTY

According to the Bell County Office of Elections Administration, there are eight locations in Bell County with which you can vote early.

  • Belton – Bell County Belton Annex, 550 East 2nd Avenue
  • Killeen
    • Bell County Annex, 304 Priest Drive
    • Jackson Professional Learning Center, 902 Rev R A Abercrombie Drive
    • Senior Center @ Lions Club Park, 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop
  • Temple – Temple ISD Admin Building, 401 Santa Fe Way
  • Salado – Salado Church of Christ, 217 North Stagecoach
  • Harker Heights – Parks & Recreation Center, 307 Millers Crossing
  • Morgan’s Point Resort – Event Center, 60 Morgan’s Point Blvd

Dates and Times

  • Monday, October 21 to Friday, October 25 – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday, October 26 – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, October 27 – 1200 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1 – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

CORYELL COUNTY

For Coryell County, there are two locations for which you can cast your early ballot.

  • Copperas Cove – Early Voting Center 508 B, Cove Terrace (Next to Waffle Cone)
  • Gatesville – Annex, 800 E. Main St., Ste B

Dates and Times

  • October 21-25, from 8 am – 5 pm
  • October 26 from 7 am – 7 pm
  • October 27 from 11 am – 5 pm
  • October 28-31 from 7 am – 7 pm
  • November 1 from 7 am – 7 pm

WILLIMASON COUNTY

If you live in Williamson County, there are over 20 locations with the main one being at the Georgetown Annex, HR 108, located at 100 Wilco Way in Georgetown. The full-time branch locations can be found here, and their dates and times are:

  • Monday, October 21 to Saturday, October 26 from 7am to 7pm
  • Sunday, October 27 from 12pm to 6pm
  • Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1 from 7am to 7pm

McLENNAN COUNTY

In McLennan County, there are five locations you can visit to vote early.

  • Hewitt – Hewitt City Hall/Library, 200 Patriot Court
  • Robinson – Robinson Community Center, 106 West Lyndale Avenue
  • Waco
    • First Assembly of God Church, 6701 Bosque Blvd
    • McLennan County Elections Administrative Office, 214 North 4th Street, Suite 300
    • Waco Multi-Purpose Community Center, 1020 Elm Avenue

Date and Times

  • Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25 from 8am to 5pm 
  • Saturday, October 26 from 7am to 7pm     
  • Sunday, October 27 1pm to 6pm     
  • Monday, October 28 through Friday, November 1 from 7am to 7pm
