Good morning, this is the Senior Report, heard every Saturday morning at 9:20am right here on KNCT. I am your host, Gary Emmert. This program is intended to provide information geared toward our senior listeners, but we are also a good source for every individual in our listening area.

The public library in Pflugerville has a busy and exciting senior calendar. On Sunday there is a Heritage House Museum open house at 1pm and again on Tuesday at 3pm, voter registration practically every day of the week, and a Spice of the Month event on Thursday at 1pm.
This month the spice is Vietnamese Cinnamon. Meet with other cooking enthusiasts during their new cooking club. When you sign up for this month’s meeting, you’ll receive a container of Vietnamese cinnamon, along with a list of suggested recipes. Use one of the recipes provided, find one of your own online, or use one of our many cookbooks. Then they meet up online via Zoom to discuss how our recipes turned out.
The library is located at 1008 W. Pfluger Street in Pflugerville and if you have any questions, email Bette at bettem@pflugervilletx.gov or call (512) 990-6375.

Their address is 1108 South University Parks Drive in Waco and if you have a military ID, admission is free. Their website is tshof.org and phone number is (254) 756-1633.
And speaking of Waco, the Sul Ross Boot Scootin’ Dance Club has been serving Waco and the surrounding area since 1978.
