Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce

On Monday, the Killeen Chamber held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Blended Color. Located at 501 W. Elms Road, they offer crafting and painting classes. Guided thematic classes are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings and you can reserve parties and events on Sundays. Killeen Independent School District

Killeen ISD’s Board Meeting was held this evening at 6pm in their Administration Building, located at 200 N. WS Young Drive and can be viewed online on their live streaming site.

KISD is also excited to celebrate the opening of Dr. Jimmie Don Aycock Middle School, located at 5360 Chaparral Road, this Thursday at 4pm.

Killeen Police Department

KPD wanted us to remind you that they are collecting school supply donations at their headquarters, located at 3304 Community Boulevard through the month of July. All donated items will help them fill backpacks for KISD students. They are specifically asking for pencils, pens, wide-ruled paper, crayons, glue sticks, dry erase markers, composition books, scissors, rulers, supply boxes, colored pencils, pocket folders with brads and backpacks with no wheels.
