Every Sunday from noon to 6 pm, we play Big Band music and feature four special programs. Each program puts a spotlight on the amazing people and organizations, both past and present, that make our area one of a kind.

USO Report with Benjamin Griffin – 1:30 pm

USO Fort Cavazos was established in 2001 and is located in the Rivers Building (Bldg. 121) being the first USO Center on a military installation. Their mission is to strengthen America’s Service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country.

Roving Reporter with Sonja Asendorf – 2:30 pm

Historic storytelling program bringing you the sights and sounds of the Big Band era from a personal perspective.

Voice of Texas Veterans with Julia Conner – 3:30 pm

This 10-minute long program features Texas Veterans Commission Services, which assists veterans in obtaining all the state and federal benefits they have earned.

Clubhouse Chronicles with Isabel Hubbard – 4:30 pm

With a vision to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Texas proudly serves 21,000 youth annually and 3,200 youth per day in 28 Club sites throughout the region. Join Isabel Hubbard, as she chronicles the organization’s goal to keep all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, while demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
