Sul Ross Boot Scootin’ Dance Club

  • Serving Waco and the surrounding area since 1978.
  • Open dances are held each Thursday night from 7pm until 9:15 pm.

Harker Heights Public Library

  • Section 504: Rehabilitation Act of 1973 Class
  • This workshop will provide an overview of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Participants will learn that schools have an obligation to prevent discrimination based on disability, to provide equal opportunity to all students, and to provide Free Appropriate Public Education to each qualified student with a disability. The definition of disability will be explained and the identification process for the 504 Plan will be explored. This workshop is presented by Michelle Lammers of the Partners Resource Network.
