  • Got 90 seconds? Then you’ve got time for a trip through the history of recorded sound! Sound Beat is a daily, 90-second show highlighting the holdings of the Belfer Audio Laboratory and Archive. Belfer is part of Syracuse University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center and is one of the largest sound archives in the United States. Each Sound Beat episode focuses on one particular recording from the Archive and provides a back story detailing its place in recording history.

  • This American Life on NestFM – A Couple Walks Into A House, Part II
  • When a mysterious letter claiming there was a plot to infiltrate and ‘Islamize’ schools in Birmingham, England surfaced in 2014, doctor-turned-journalist Hamza Syed had been intrigued. And so years after the letter came out, Hamza teamed up with producer Brian Reed to get to the bottom of a question that had never been answered: who wrote the letter? But that was only the beginning of the saga. As their investigation went on, it began to look like the whole country had been deceived in plain sight. This is the first episode of Hamza and Brian’s new podcast, The Trojan Horse Affair.
