The Carlson Law Firm Expands Carlson Cares Scholarship to all Central Texas High School Seniors

KILLEEN, Texas — The Carlson Law Firm is proud to announce that it is expanding its Carlson Cares scholarship program to all school districts located in Bell and surrounding counties. High school seniors headed to a university or college in Texas for the 2022-2023 school year are eligible for a $1,000 academic scholarship from The Carlson Law Firm.

The firm will select two local seniors to receive the scholarships as part of its #howicare initiative in 2022. This year, students have the option of creating a 2-3 minute video on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the ‘howicare’ hashtag to showcase the efforts they’ve made to better their community. The option to submit their application with a written essay is still available.  

Along with their video, students will still need to complete their application on The Carlson Law Firm’s website at carlsonattorneys.com/scholarship.

For consideration, the Carlson Cares scholarship applicant must submit a 2-3 minute video or a 400-500 word essay about a time the student volunteered and the impact it had on them and their community. Further eligibility requirements include the following:

• Must be a high school senior for the 2021-2022 school year
• Enrolled in Bell, Coryell, Lampasas, McLennan, Falls or Milam County high school
• Must be headed to a Texas university or college for the 2022-2023 school year
• The application must be submitted online through the scholarship form at carlsonattorneys.com/scholarship
• Submit proof of enrollment
• Submit an unofficial transcript

Application submissions will open on Jan. 18 and run through April 15 until 5 p.m. Scholarship winners will be notified on April 21.

Whether that’s cleaning up their communities or volunteering at a local organization or simply highlighting the amazing work they’ve done through an extracurricular activity in school. We want to see how they’ve cared and how they’ve helped.”
