The Association of the United States Army – Central Texas Chapter is entering its 13th Annual Toy Drive which offers toys and gifts for Military Families in need. To raise money for the Toy Drive, AUSA will be hosting its Inaugural Indoor Car Show on October 2. There will be raffles, prizes, activities for the kids, food trucks and more. Admission for the general public is free.

Participants wishing to enter the car show can pre-register by September 29 with a $20 registration fee plus a new toy. Registration on October 2 will be $25 plus a new toy. Registration information can be found at www.ausaforthood.org.

Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are available. Sponsorships for these efforts will only cost $250 and will allow you to market your organization with a banner or a booth on the day of the event (2 Oct 2021).

The Car Show will be at the Killeen Event Center on Saturday, 2 Oct 2021, 11:00am-3:00pm.

The funds generated by this car show will directly support our efforts in helping Soldiers and their families this holiday season.

During the holidays, we recognize that many of our Soldiers’ Families still struggle with the challenge of providing gifts for their children. Many resources available at Fort Hood have deadlines in October, AUSA’s Toy Drive runs from 1 November thru 17 December therefore serving as a safety net at Fort Hood for families that did not receive assistance. In 2020, our AUSA CEN-TEX Toy Drive assisted 185 families with 390 kids.
