The League of Women Voters of Texas is rolling out its nonpartisan 2026 Primary Election Voters Guide, giving Texans a centralized, accessible way to prepare for the upcoming primary. The guide is now available through VOTE411.org and LWVTexas.org, offering voters a clear look at the races, candidates, and election information that will shape this year’s decisions.

Through VOTE411, Texans can enter their address to see the exact races and candidates that will appear on their ballot. The platform allows users to compare candidates’ responses to uniform, unbiased questions and build a personalized ballot they can take with them to the polls. Voters can also check their registration status, locate polling places, view voting hours, and find information on local races and candidate forums where a local League is active.
To reach as many Texans as possible, the League is providing the guide in multiple formats and languages. Statewide race information on VOTE411.org is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese. Printable PDF versions in all four languages will be posted at LWVTexas.org, and printed English and Spanish editions will be distributed to more than 260 libraries, food banks, and community locations across the state.
With many Texas districts leaning strongly toward one political party, primary elections often determine who will ultimately represent the state in Congress and in state government. This year’s guide covers all congressional and state legislative races statewide, supported by the combined efforts of the League of Women Voters of Texas and local Leagues.
“The upcoming primary elections are extremely important for Texas,” said Joyce LeBombard, president of the League of Women Voters of Texas. “We strongly encourage all Texans to learn about the candidates and participate in one of the primaries or conventions.”
Publishing a trusted, nonpartisan voters guide remains central to the League’s mission of empowering voters and strengthening democracy. The organization does not support or oppose any political party or candidate, and all candidates appearing on the ballot in both party primaries are invited to participate.
“We urge our fellow Texans to use this resource,” LeBombard added. “And we encourage our supporters and partner organizations to share the Voters Guide with their communities across Texas.”
As always, voters should confirm election information with official sources.
