The 9th Annual Silver Shells Shootout, benefitting the Heroes Resource Center, is now one week away. The event will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Reunion Ranch in Georgetown.

The schedule for the day includes:

• 12:00 PM – Registration
• 1:15 PM – Shotgun Start
• 3:00 PM – Side Games Open
• 4:30 PM – Dinner, Live Auction, and Awards

Spectator tickets are available. Participants who wish to bring a guest may register them in advance. The $50 spectator ticket includes dinner and one drink ticket.

The Heroes Resource Center, based in Cedar Park, is a community nonprofit that provides support and resources to Veterans, Service Members, and their families in a welcoming, family‑friendly environment. Services are offered at no cost and include peer‑to‑peer groups, family and individual activities, on‑site counseling, assistance with claims and benefits through a Veteran Service Officer, a VA Loan Specialist, Texas Veterans Commission financial assistance, and support from Texas Workforce Commission representatives.

The organization also hosts weekly gatherings such as Donuts & Coffee, along with annual events including a Christmas Workshop, Thanksgiving meals, Friday Family Nights, and programs specifically for Women Veterans. These activities help foster community, connection, and support for those who have served.
