The City of Temple is inviting residents to share their perspectives in a new community-wide survey designed to gather feedback on city services and overall quality of life. The results will help guide future planning efforts and ensure that city decisions reflect the priorities of the people who live and work in Temple.
The survey, known as The National Community Survey (NCS), is conducted by Polco’s National Research Center. It asks residents to provide input on a range of topics, including city services and infrastructure, transportation and mobility, public safety, utilities and the natural environment, community design and inclusivity, and overall quality of life in Temple. The findings will highlight areas where the city is performing well and identify opportunities for improvement. They will also allow Temple to compare its results with similar communities across the country.
Participation will take place in two phases. On January 8, 2026, randomly selected households will receive a mailed invitation with instructions on how to take part. Beginning February 5, 2026, the survey will open to all Temple residents through a link on the City’s website. The survey will remain available until February 19, 2026.
City officials encourage all residents to take a few minutes to share their thoughts, noting that community feedback plays an important role in shaping Temple’s future.
More information, including access to the survey once it opens, is available at templetx.gov/survey. Residents with questions may contact the City of Temple at (254) 298‑5291.
