The Lena Armstrong Public Library will implement a new schedule beginning December 1, aimed at better serving the community’s needs.

The updated hours include an earlier opening time on weekdays and extended access on Saturdays.

“After reviewing patron usage and overall service needs, we identified opportunities to improve access by opening 30 minutes earlier each weekday and extending Saturday service hours,” said Library Director Amanda Hairston.

Starting December 1, the library will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The library looks forward to welcoming patrons during these expanded hours and continuing to support the community with quality resources and services,” Hairston added.
