The City of Austin and the Military Veterans Empowerment Network (MVEN) invite the public to honor those who have served in the armed forces at the 69th Annual Austin Veterans Parade, taking place Tuesday, November 11, at 9:00 a.m.
The parade will begin at the South Congress Avenue Bridge and proceed to the Texas State Capitol, featuring marching units, JROTC and ROTC programs, veteran organizations, first responders, and civic groups. The event is free and open to all.
Following the parade, a veterans resource event will begin at 10:00 a.m., leading into the Veterans Day Ceremony at 11:11 a.m. on the south steps of the Capitol. The ceremony will pay tribute to military service and highlight the value of community and remembrance.
