In honor of Veterans Day, the Texas Historical Commission (THC) will offer free admission to all state-operated historic sites for veterans of the Armed Forces on Tuesday, November 11th.

This gesture serves as a tribute to those who have served, allowing Veterans to explore and enjoy the rich history preserved across the state. The THC manages 42 historic sites throughout Texas, each offering a unique glimpse into the state’s cultural and historical legacy. While Veterans Day offers complimentary access for Veterans, the THC also provides reduced admission for veterans year-round. Active-duty military members continue to receive free entry to these sites throughout the year.
