At the center of the story is Lydia Deetz, a teenager with a flair for the macabre and a heart still healing from the loss of her mother. When Lydia and her father move into a new home, they discover it’s already occupied—by a ghostly couple and one wildly unpredictable demon named Beetlejuice. With his chaotic charm and love for mischief, Beetlejuice turns Lydia’s grief into a whirlwind of supernatural surprises. But as Lydia tries to use him to scare off the living, she soon learns that some spirits are better left uninvited.
