High school marching bands from across Texas will gather at McLane Stadium on Saturday, October 18th, for the Bands of America Waco Regional Championship, presented by Yamaha. The event, hosted by Waco High School Choir and National Honor Society, is part of a nationwide series celebrating student musicianship and visual performance.

Preliminary competition begins at 8am, with gates opening to the public at 7:30am. A panel of nationally recognized music educators and marching band experts will evaluate performances. The top 12 scoring bands will advance to the evening finals, which start at 7:30pm. Finalist gates open at 6:30pm.

This regional championship is one of 29 events in the 2025 Bands of America season, culminating in the Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, November 13–15.
