The City of Killeen has announced a temporary lane closure on Roy J Smith Drive to accommodate infrastructure upgrades in the area.

Beginning Tuesday, October 8 at 7 p.m., the outside eastbound lane between Twin Creeks Drive and Swanner Loop will be closed to through traffic. The closure is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday, October 9 at 7 a.m., weather permitting.

The work is part of a private infrastructure improvement project. A traffic control plan will be in place to help guide motorists safely around the construction zone. Drivers are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and follow posted traffic control devices.
