Copperas Cove ISD is opening its doors, and its plans, to the public this fall with a series of community information sessions designed to shed light on the district’s 2025 bond proposal. Dubbed the Bond 2025 Walk & Talks, these three evening events will offer residents a chance to explore the details of proposed projects and engage directly with district leaders and members of the Long Range Facilities Planning Committee.

“We understand that our community may have questions about this bond proposal, and we want to make sure we answer them,” said Superintendent Dr. Brent Hawkins. “These three evenings are aimed at doing just that, in order for each person in our community to make an informed decision when they step into the ballot box later this fall.”

Walk & Talk Schedule – All events begin at 6 pm:

  • Tuesday, September 23rd
    • Fairview/Jewell Elementary School Gym
    • 710 S. 5th St. (Enter through front of campus)
  • Monday, September 29th
    • Copperas Cove High School Gym 2
    • 400 S. 25th St. (Enter through front of campus)
  • Monday, October 6th
    • Copperas Cove Jr. High Cafeteria

These sessions are designed to be interactive and informative, giving community members the opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns, and gain clarity on how the bond could impact local schools and students.
