As part of ongoing infrastructure improvements, contractors will be working in your area to install new 6-inch water lines and connect them to existing mains. These upgrades are designed to improve long-term service reliability and water quality.
Waterline Rehabilitation
Private contractors will be installing new 6-inch water lines in designated areas. This work will require a temporary interruption of water services for the following addresses:
- N. 10th St.: 1005, 1007, 1008, 1009, 1012, 1013, 1014, 1015
- N. 10th St. (Extended): 1104, 1105, 1106, 1206, 1207, 1209, 1307
- Garrison Ave.: 415, 416, 417, 418
- E. Dean Ave.: 426, 428
- E. Dunn Ave.: 410, 413
- E. Rancier Ave.: 419
Roadway Reconstruction – Gilmer St.
Additionally, as part of the roadway reconstruction project on Gilmer St., contractors will be connecting the new 6-inch water main to existing 6″, 8″, and 4″ mains at cross streets. This work will also require water service interruptions for the following addresses:
- West Ave. C: 407–722, 814, 908
- Adams Ave.: 415–725
Service Interruption Details
Water services for all listed addresses will be off starting at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, with restoration expected by 5:00 p.m. the same day. Once construction is complete, water services will be restored.
Water Quality Testing
Water quality samples will be collected the following day, Wednesday, September 10, with results available within 24 to 48 hours to ensure compliance with safety standards.
