Big changes are hitting the curb as the City of Temple officially launches its updated solid waste collection schedule today.

Under the new plan, recycling and garbage pickups are now streamlined to occur on the same day each week, providing greater convenience for residents and increased efficiency for collection crews. The rollout moves the city from a four-day to a five-day pickup cycle, meaning every neighborhood now has a designated collection day.

• 🟢 Green Zone: Wednesday collection
• 🔵 Blue Zone: Thursday collection
• 🟡 Yellow Zone: Friday collection

• Recycling and garbage are now picked up on the same day each week, based on your newly assigned collection day.
