As part of ongoing improvements to Old Waco Road, a traffic diversion will begin on May 29 and continue through approximately September 1.

Drivers will be shifted onto newly constructed lanes south of Riverside Trail, returning to the existing Old Waco Road just north of Golden Heart Drive. Despite the diversion, two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the construction period.

Additionally, the previously closed intersections at Riverside Trail and Golden Heart Drive will reopen, restoring full access to Old Waco Road.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow all traffic control devices in the area. The City of Temple advises drivers to plan for potential delays and remain alert as crews continue work on this important infrastructure project.
