As Military Appreciation Month approaches, SeaWorld is once again demonstrating its gratitude for the men and women who serve in the U.S. military. This year, the park is extending a warm invitation to veterans and their families with free one-day admission to its locations across the country. The special offer, part of the long-running Waves of Honor program, allows U.S. military veterans to register for complimentary tickets for themselves and up to three guests now through May 11, with the opportunity to visit anytime before July 6.
For over 20 years, SeaWorld has honored military personnel through the Waves of Honor initiative, providing more than 10 million active-duty service members, veterans, and their families with free park admission. Whether it’s the excitement of world-class rides or the awe-inspiring marine life encounters, SeaWorld offers veterans and their families a day of adventure and connection.
“We are proud to honor active-duty military, veterans, and their families with a complimentary visit to one of our parks,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts. “Their dedication and service to our country deserve to be recognized, and the Waves of Honor program is our way of showing appreciation.”
U.S. military veterans and retirees can register for free tickets for themselves and up to three dependents by visiting www.WavesofHonor.com before May 11. Once registered, tickets must be used by July 6 (SeaWorld San Diego guests have until May 26).
In addition to the veteran’s promotion, active-duty military personnel continue to enjoy complimentary one-day admission all year long. Service members and their dependents must present a valid military ID to participate.
Beyond the Waves of Honor program, additional discounts and promotions are available year-round through MWR and ITT offices on U.S. military bases. Military families can explore reduced ticket prices and special offers through www.WavesofHonor.com, with benefits varying by park location.
SeaWorld parks are more than thrill-filled destinations—they serve as educational and conservation-focused hubs, inspiring guests to care about marine life and the environment. Through science, rescue efforts, and a dedication to animal welfare, SeaWorld has helped more than 40,000 animals in need and contributed $20 million toward global marine conservation.
With locations in Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, and even Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld continues to offer unforgettable experiences for families while reinforcing its mission to educate and protect marine wildlife.
