The City of Killeen has announced a temporary closure of West Elms Road between John Haedge Drive and Littleleaf Drive to accommodate contractor work.

The closure will be in effect from:

• Monday, April 28th to Friday, May 2nd
• 6pm to 10pm
• Pending Weather Conditions.

A private contractor will be conducting aerial line work in the area, which may also necessitate the temporary closure of sidewalks. To facilitate traffic flow, a detour plan will be in place, and motorists should expect delays. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution and adhere to all traffic control measures.
