NC3 Letter of Intent Signing Day Honors Future Leaders in Career and Technical Education

For students looking to build hands-on skills and shape their communities, Career and Technical Education (CTE) offers a direct path to opportunity. On Tuesday, April 15, Central Texas College will host the NC3 Letter of Intent Signing Day, a celebration of students committing to CTE programs that will prepare them for careers in industries vital to the economy.

Held at the Anderson Campus Center (Building 224) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the event recognizes students choosing to pursue CTE degrees or certificates, a decision that underscores the growing importance of technical skills in today’s workforce. These students are not just signing letters of intent—they are making a commitment to the future of essential fields such as healthcare, engineering, skilled trades, and more.

The event is open to individuals who plan to enroll in a CTE program at Central Texas College, including students who will begin their coursework in summer or fall 2025. To qualify, students must have 15 or fewer credit hours in their chosen program at the time of signing.

NC3 Signing Day is modeled after National Signing Day, which traditionally honors student-athletes committing to collegiate teams. This event, however, highlights the achievements and aspirations of future technicians, engineers, healthcare professionals, and skilled workers—students whose contributions will strengthen local and national economies.

“This is more than just a ceremony,” organizers emphasize. “It’s a recognition of students who are taking a step toward a rewarding career, one that blends education, skill-building, and community impact.”

Students and business partners interested in taking part in NC3 Signing Day must register by Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Participants are encouraged to embrace the moment, connect with peers, and envision the promising careers ahead.

For those eager to sign their commitment to CTE education and a future of innovation, the event promises to be a meaningful milestone. Click here to register or learn more.
