SEA LIFE Aquarium Kicks Off Opening Day with Festive Events and a Special Sea Turtle Announcement

GRAPEVINE – SEA LIFE Aquarium in Grapevine celebrated opening day in style, delivering a lively combination of sports enthusiasm and marine conservation. To mark the occasion, the aquarium’s dive team donned baseball attire in support of the home team while performing their weekly dive in the impressive 170,000-gallon ocean exhibit. Home to over 1,000 marine animals, the ocean exhibit provided a dynamic and vibrant backdrop for the festivities, blending the excitement of the game with the wonder of sea life.

Adding to the excitement, SEA LIFE Aquarium announced the naming of a new sea turtle hospital patient. The turtle, which was rescued as a hatchling after surviving a predator attack, will be named after the first Arlington ball team player to hit a home run during opening weekend. Due to its injuries, the turtle cannot return to the wild but will continue to thrive under the dedicated care of SEA LIFE Grapevine. The turtle’s story serves as an educational opportunity for visitors, highlighting the importance of conservation and animal welfare.

These celebratory events showcase SEA LIFE Grapevine’s ongoing commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests while promoting awareness about marine life and sustainability.
