Elevate Studios Premieres ‘Nevertheless: The Women Changing the World’ Docuseries

MIAMI – The Elevate Prize Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to advancing social good, unveiled its inaugural docuseries, Nevertheless: The Women Changing the World. Released through its media arm, Elevate Studios, the series explores the journeys of women changemakers who have overcome challenges and initiated transformative impact globally. The launch coincides with Women’s History Month and aims to bring attention to social entrepreneurship and innovation.

The three-part docuseries profiles Teresa Njoroge, Cindy Eggleton, and Dr. Aparna Hegde, who are recipients of the Elevate Prize, an award designed to empower social entrepreneurs by providing resources, visibility, and funding. Each episode combines interviews with behind-the-scenes footage, offering insight into the changemakers’ efforts and the challenges they face.

Carolina García Jayaram, CEO of the Elevate Prize Foundation, highlighted the relevance of the series amid increasing global threats to women’s rights. She emphasized the importance of storytelling in showcasing social impact work and inspiring collective action. The debut episode features Teresa Njoroge, founder of Clean Start Africa, who advocates for justice reform in Kenya. Subsequent episodes will spotlight Cindy Eggleton, founder of Brilliant Cities in Detroit, and Dr. Aparna Hegde, leader of Armman in India, which focuses on maternal and child health.

Produced by Elevate Studios and directed by Ramy and Sharra Romany, new episodes will air weekly on YouTube, concluding on April 8. Eva Bloomfield, the series’ producer and Chief Marketing Officer of the Elevate Prize Foundation, emphasized the significance of accessible, impactful narratives in fostering hope and encouraging social progress.

Elevate Studios was launched at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival as part of the Elevate Prize Foundation’s broader mission to “Make Good Famous” by spotlighting social impact leaders. The studio seeks to amplify stories that inspire cultural and social change, aligning with the foundation’s five-year anniversary and its continued focus on leveraging digital platforms to drive meaningful engagement.
