Lane Closure Alert: West Elms Road to Undergo Construction on March 20

Killeen, TX – The City of Killeen has announced a lane closure on West Elms Road scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025. The outside eastbound lane between Stefek Drive and Old Florence Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. The closure is necessary for a private contractor to install a curb inlet box.

Sidewalks in the area may also be temporarily closed during the construction. A traffic control plan will be implemented to guide vehicles safely around the work zone. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays, exercise caution, and adhere to traffic control devices.
