Cedar Park – As part of the New Hope Expansion project between Block House and CR 180, drivers can expect new traffic patterns starting this week. To help motorists navigate these changes, signs and portable message boards will be deployed along the routes.

Beginning this week, the outside lane of the 183A Southbound Frontage Road (from the 183A exit ramp to the New Hope Drive intersection) will be closed. Additionally, a new South-to-North U-turn will be implemented to replace the old one. Access to all driveways in this area will remain open during these changes.

Starting February 27, both directions of traffic along New Hope Drive (from Avenue of the Stars to the TX-183A interchange) will continue to maintain two lanes but will be shifted to accommodate the remaining culvert extension construction. Eastbound and westbound traffic on New Hope Drive will not be able to turn left at the Avenue of the Stars and Discovery Boulevard intersection.

As part of the project, the following driveways will be closed:

• The westernmost driveway of the Valero Gas station north of New Hope Drive.
• The driveway closest to the Animal Hospital/7-Eleven on the southern portion of New Hope Drive.

These updates are part of an ongoing effort to improve infrastructure and traffic flow in the area. Drivers are encouraged to stay informed about the changes and plan their routes accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
