COPPERAS COVE – The Copperas Cove Municipal Court Building is set to undergo significant renovations starting Monday, February 10th.

This project is a part of the City’s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan, aiming to enhance the infrastructure and functionality of the municipal court facilities.

The first phase of the renovations is expected to last between 4 to 5 weeks. During this period, the Court Clerks will continue to assist citizens at the Municipal Court located at 602 S. Main Street.

However, all courtroom operations will be temporarily relocated to the City Council Chambers at 508 S. 2nd Street. This relocation is necessary to ensure that the court can continue to operate efficiently while the renovations are underway.

The Copperas Cove Municipal Court will maintain its daily operating hours as follows:

• Monday to Friday: The lobby will be open to the public from 8am to 12pm & 1pm PM to 4pm.
• Phone Accessibility: Staff will be available by phone from 4pm to 5pm.
