Here are the programs in our orbit this month!

October 30th-November 5th: Brilliant Giant

The planet Jupiter — the giant of the solar system — shines at its best this week, and we’ll explain why. We’ll also talk about a “spooky” star, some nearby star clusters, and much more.

November 6th-12th: The “Morning Star”

Space agencies around the world are preparing to return to Venus, which reigns as the brilliant “morning star,” and we’ll have details. We’ll also talk about hints of life in Venus’s clouds.

Nov. 13th-19th: Planets Almost Everywhere

We’ll talk about some amazing planets in other star systems this week, including the most reflective yet seen, and one that’s hard to study. We’ll also talk about places with almost no planets.

November 20th-26th: The Hero

Perseus the hero is in great view on late-autumn nights, and we’ll tell you all about it, including a famous galaxy and a star cluster with some of the building blocks of life.

November 27th-December 3rd: Dark Moon

The Sun is getting bigger and brighter as it ages, and we’ll explain what’s happening. We’ll also talk about some threats from today’s Sun. Please join us for the Sun, plus some giant escorts for the Moon, and much more.
